
When Sally Lindsay, the creator and star of The Madame Blanc Mysteries, saw her castmates Sue Holderness and Robin Askwith riding jet skis on their day off from filming, she knew she had to incorporate it into the show.
'I saw them zipping across the Mediterranean, and I went, "Right, that's going on the telly," recalls Lindsay. "There are no body doubles - that's really them doing it, and they spent all day filming it. Where else will you see two 70-plus hotties on TV looking that gorgeous? That representation is really important to me.
