A CAFE has had its licence suspended after a late-night drinking incident resulted in two people being injured.
Birmingham City Council's licencing committee heard the Merkeb Cafe, in Soho Hill, Hockley, was found selling alcohol well beyond the hours allowed in the early hours of February 20.
A man is said to have gone into the cafe at around 3.30am, but had been refused alcohol and was ejected from the venue by the premises licence holder, Anderbirhan Teckie, who was also the venue's designated premises supervisor.
