THE NUMBER-ONE excuse not to buy an electric car? Range anxiety. Early adopters of battery power had to become expert journey planners, constantly searching for the next charge station.
Now most EVs manage in excess of 200 miles on a single charge and some, like the Mercedes EQS, raise the bar still higher. The 2025 model packs a larger 118 kWh battery that returns an impressive real-world range of 390 miles.
