For long stretches, you're alone in farmland - sometimes dry wheatfields, sometimes citrus orchards or vineyards, but mostly potatoes. Then, suddenly, a farm stall!
Skrik van Rondom is on the farm of the same name. According to legend, the place got its name when horses came around the side of a hill and got a fright. What scared them? The big, wide rondom - their surroundings!
The farm stall opened its doors in December 2020 and is owned by the Van Zyl family who farm sheep, cattle and game, as well as rooibos tea and potatoes.
