Art Mumbai's curators are dedicated to balancing local and international perspectives, a commitment that has shaped this year's offerings. Conor Macklin, co-founder of Art Mumbai, explains, "Since its inception, Art Mumbai has prioritised a balance between showcasing the richness of Indian and South Asian art while also embracing a global perspective. For the second edition, we have significantly expanded our offerings to reflect this commitment." This approach is embodied in a line-up of 71 galleries, including Vadehra Art Gallery and DAG, alongside nine prominent international galleries such as Galleria Continua and Ben Brown Fine Arts. Macklin highlights Art Mumbai's goal of fostering crosscultural exchange, bringing in panel discussions and interactive experiences to encourage audiences to engage with the artworks on display.
