Spring is such a magical time of year, isn't it? After the chill of winter, there's nothing like seeing the first flowers bloom and feeling the warm sunshine again.

Spring always takes me back to childhood memories of my mom planting her vegetable garden and watching her flowers pop up all over the yard. There's something so special about celebrating this season of renewal and one of my favorite ways to do that is by creating a spring-inspired tablescape for Easter.

When it comes to styling a spring table, I always look for ways to bring the outdoors in. Whether you're hosting an Easter brunch or simply want to add a little cheer to your dining space, the goal is to make it feel fresh, inviting and personal.

START WITH A SOFT, NATURAL FOUNDATION

I love to layer a soft tablecloth or runner as the base. Think creamy whites, muted pastels or even—my favorite—a vintage floral print. Then I like to add texture with pieces like placemats, chargers and flatware. They remind me of the earthy tones of a spring garden.

Adding flowers is a must for me. My Oma and grandma had the most beautiful yards filled with geraniums, daisies and roses, so I like to honor their memory by incorporating those flowers into my décor when I can. A simple bouquet of daisies or a mix of fresh blooms in shades of pink, green and white create the perfect cottage-inspired centerpiece. These colors are my favorite to work with in the spring because they feel so light, fresh and full of life, like stepping into a blooming garden.
