It may sound strange, but this stress-busting hack can tame tension in minutes. The next time you're feeling anxious, simply sidle up to a rounded doorknob, gently press your back against it, then move your body in a controlled motion to apply pressure to areas of tension or discomfort. This method mimics trigger-point massage therapy, quickly releasing built-up tension in the body. The payoff: a drop in stress hormones, according to research published in the International Journal of Neuroscience, as well as a boost in the feel-good hormones serotonin and dopamine.
