JAMMU: Jammu & Kashmir lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha on Monday said that the Union government was committed to address the demands for statehood, adding that the administration was talking to all stakeholders to facilitate the process.

Addressing the Jammu & Kashmir assembly on the first day of the budget session, Sinha said, "One of the foremost aspirations of the people of Jammu & Kashmir is the restoration of full statehood. My government remains steadfast in its commitment to addressing it."
