THE president of Scotland's oldest football club has told how dreams really do come true after his team caused the greatest Scottish Cup uspset ever.
Shock troops Queen's Park FC pulled off a dramatic 1-0 victory over Rangers at Ibrox in the fifth round of the tournament on Sunday.
Graeme Shields and his wife Lorna both woke up yesterday thinking the incredible victory was just a dream. Graeme, 59, said: "My wife Lorna was at the game and we both had a couple glasses of wine afterwards to celebrate.
"We woke up this morning and we were just lying in bed when my wife said, 'I dreamt we beat Rangers in the Scottish Cup last night'. I said, 'That's funny, I had the same dream'.
"Even this morning, I ran out and bought all the papers just to be sure. I don't know if it will ever sink in."
The victory has put the club - who play their home games at Hampden Stadium in Glasgow's south side and were founded in 1867 - into the Scottish Cup quarter-finals for the first time in more than 40 years.
The dramatic win led to wild celebrations among the home support and everybody connected with the club.
