I was delighted to see a plethora of facilities for business and leisure travellers. In the lounge, the airline has introduced new bespoke furniture, flooring, and soft furnishings, to bring an elevated look and feel to it. The airline has also introduced a quiet zone for those who wish to relax pre-flight.
WHERE IS IT? British Airways Galleries Club Lounge in Terminal 5B, is a train ride away from Gates B and C. As I went down from the lounge, I saw signage guiding us to take the transit train to Gate C from where I was taking a connecting flight onwards. It took a little more than 20 minutes to reach my departure gate, so it is imperative to factor in this time to make the experience smooth and seamless.
