A snap to put together with store-bought puff pastry and raspberry jam, this flaky confection is even better with our chocolate dipping sauce
2 (17.3 oz.) pkgs. frozen puff pastry, thawed
3/4 cup sugar-free raspberry preserves
1 egg, beaten
8 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup heavy cream
Confectioners' sugar, for dusting
1 Heat oven to 375°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. On lightly floured surface, roll each puff pastry sheet to 10" square. Using 10" plate, cut each pastry sheet into round; discard scraps. Place first dough round on baking sheet. Spread 1⁄4 cup jam on top; repeat layering twice. Top with remaining dough round.
